Has anyone read Wired magazines story on "Googlenomics"? It has sparked some thought on how a model like this could drastically change our entire industry. From funding of conceptual ideas all the way through the bids and suppliers way of interacting with each other and the firms putting it all together. Lets discuss breaking up the stagnate way the construction industry operates and give a birthplace to new ideas and innovations involving the way in which business is done. Read the article, my mind is blown and ideas are churning out like a Spacely Sprocket factory.

good to have a link but how about we have something about CIC's FRIK up here as our link with nCRISP (make mine cheese and onion).
FRIK is old Anglo Saxon for Forum for Research, Information and Knowlege

This was a starter contribution from the RIBA Research Wiki site to help CIC get going. There is a hyper link "fiunders" that reverts back to our site still - great for us but distracting for a CIC KM wiki user!!

By implication by providing a link you are saying there is nothing confidential in the minutes so why not put them in full on the wiki? This would be far more likely to generate comments and dialogue based on their content within the wiki itself. Whislt on that topic what is actually produced I'd say is more 'notes' - fine and unless there is something deep in the protocols of the CIC that demands they be called 'minutes' I'd say refer to them as 'notes' (more freindly and inviting to 'wiki lurkers') and positively seek commentary on them and the business of the Task Group.
Also - as the site gets more stuff on it a structure will emerge but one thing you could do immediately is put a bit more about the group at the top of this page esp its objectives.
And another thing .... I say "a structure will emerge" and this is true - you could perhaps suggest one in a bit more detail in the navigation column ahead of that as this may then prompt contributions.
Keep up the good work

When I suggested 'stealing' articles from the RIBA research wiki to get yours going I didn't mean to link to ours but to literally steal the contents. As it is set up you won't get any discussion of the topic happening on your wiki - it will happen on ours! This will of course be great for us as we are just starting to establish our community too but to test the wiki idea for CIC you need 'stuff' actually on your wiki.
Of course you could have been being really clever and done it that way so I would be bound to point it out and hence generate 'comment' activity on your site.
All the best

See my comments on the Research Funding topic.
Also other useful stuff to get some substance up here would be the proceedings of the meetings to date (though maybe not full minutes - up to you). the Agendas to date ought to inspire a bunch of headings for topics I'd have thought. A dead cert for a topic is the SCENTA stuff - explanation, progress, objectives - that kind of thing.
